During the process of trimming and pasting the linoleum, I encountered several issues. The edge finishing was not ideal, as there was some glue overflow, and the connections between the linoleum pieces were not smooth, affecting the overall quality. This made me realize that I need to improve both the edge handling and the adhesion technique.

Reflections:
1.The glue application wasn’t precise enough. How can I find an adhesive that bonds quickly without causing overflow? Should I change the way I apply the glue or look for a better linoleum-specific adhesive?
2.There were noticeable gaps between the pieces. Could a more accurate template solve this issue? How can I ensure better alignment during cutting and pasting to improve precision?
3.The use of transparent materials is meant to represent the digital world, but how can I make this symbolism clearer for the audience? I need to explore how to communicate the contrast between the virtual and physical worlds more effectively through design.

Plan:
1.Create precise templates: Design more accurate cutting templates to ensure smoother edges and prevent gaps during pasting.
2.Test different adhesives: Focus on testing linoleum-specific adhesives (e.g., lino flooring glue) by making samples to find the best solution that prevents overflow and ensures strong bonding.
3.Clarify the meaning of transparent materials: Think more deeply about how to link transparent materials to the concept of the digital world and enhance this idea in the design.
Produce 3D-printed and metal samples: Create small 3D-printed and metal pieces to test how well they integrate with linoleum and assess their performance in the design.
